Course Description

This course examines characteristics of Japanese movies of Japanese film makers. To accomplish this task, we have to watch many classical films such as the films of Kurosawa Akira and Ozu Yasujirou . Our goal is to understand Japanese Culture through reevaluation of Japanese films.
