Course Description

Lectures on the history of Japanese food culture. In recent years, Japanese food has been registered as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage, and sake (Japanese sake) and Japanese tea have been actively exported. In this way, interest in Japanese food is high worldwide. Based on this, this lecture will focus on the history about what kind of foods and drinks Japanese people have eaten and drunk.
