Course Description

China's GDP is bigger than that of Japan by 2.7 times. Japan's GNI per capita represents only 70% of that of Singapore and the difference between Singapore and Japan in per capita GNI is larger than that between Japan and Korea. Did you know this? Course aims at nurturing accurate understanding on today's Asia, and after summarized features of the region as a whole, country specific study is programed. Current topics will be taken up accordingly.
Evaluation is based on attendance + reaction paper submission in each time(50%) and term-end exam(50%).
