Course Description

Tourism faces various risuks. For example, risks in tourism include natural disasters, epidemics, and bloods caused by climate change,etc. The purpose of this lecture is to theoretically analyze the risks involved in tourism that occured in reality. In paticular, iwe explain the expected utility hypothesis as the basic theory of risk, imperfections of information, and the relationship between tourists' present and future choices and risk, etc . Students can learn how to deal with risks by learning the basic theory of risk.
