Course Description

The course attempts to develop a higher proficiency in field research methods through participants’ carrying out fieldwork in practice. Building on the understanding acquired in the course "Field Research Methods" in spring semester, each student sets out to the field of his/her choice, collects data, shares his/her experiences in the field back in classroom and organizes the data into a research paper by the end of the semester.
By engaging in fieldwork in practice, course participants will acquire a better view of diverse realities in contemporary world as well as of the possible ways to deal with them.
