Course Description

This is a compulsory class for first-year students who major in Chinese Language at the Department of Foreign Languages. In order to deepen their knowledge on China and its citizens, students must study not only politics, economy, and diplomacy, but also how the country’s long history and culture affect the daily lives of local residents. For this reason, every class will focus on different aspects of the lifestyle and culture of the Chinese people. This will enable students to understand the country through the citizens’ perspective.
