Course Description

In this class, I would like to talk about the prehistoric cultures and societies in Japanese archipelago. I will introduce and explain archaeological materials and sites of various parts of Japan about the Paleolithic age, Jomon, Yayoi, Kofun period. We will outline how Japanese culture and society changed in prehistoric age.
