This course will serve as an introduction to understanding the modern German history. This course will consist of the following themes:
1. Beginning of the rivalry between Prussia and Austria
2. Napoleon and Germany
3. Vormärz (pre-March)
4. German Empire
5. Weimar Republic
6. Two World Wars and Germany
