Course Description

This course will serve as an introduction to understanding the outline of German history. With 'Introduction to Western History I, II' and ' Western Culture 2-1, 2' this course will set up the trilogy. This course will consisit of the following themes:
1. What is 'deutsch (German)' ?
2. German history and Europe
3. The Holy Roman Empire
4. Charles V and the Reformation
5. Confessionalization
