Course Description

In the latter period, we take up “xia” (侠) as a theme. Xia, so to speak, is a Chivalrous spirit in Chinese society, Chinese people have respected it a lot for long years. For example, not to be abandoned a troubles person in a lurch, not to mind self-sacrifice, not to betray a benefactor, etc. From ancient times, Chinese people have respected such persons, and called them “hero(好漢)”, and they themselves also hoped to be called in the same way.
For a long time, Japan have respected China as a teacher and as a elder brother. I think such a merit of Chinese people perhaps will appear in this form.
