Course Description

The theme of the class in the spring season is "What changed in the 2000s? - How to discuss change".
There are 55 headwords in "Kotoba circumstances nowadays (Imadoki Kotoba Jijyo)" (2016). Both are thought to reflect some change in the 2000s as they are talking about contemporary Japanese society or culture that became a topic in the last ten years. What kind of changes can be read from 55 headwords? We would like to clarify this problem through group work.
First, classify the students into groups of four. Next, for each group, decide on some theme and pick up multiple headwords. Then, by cross-reading them, we create the relevant chronology and think about what changed in the 2000s. In the term-end report, based on the results of group activities, each one sets a theme and thinks "What has changed in the 2000s?"
