Course Description

The purpose of this semester is to know how the countries of Latin America were formed and to have a general vision of the region.
Through exhibitions with slides, we will learn about wars, guerrillas, "lost decade", militarism, drug cartels as well as the contributions of migration, both European and Asian.
We will visit the Patrimonies of Humanity, music and Latin American art, in addition to knowing the scientific contributions of the region we will see the current situation of the new political groups, Socialism of the XXI century, the Progressist and the “Libartarios”, not liberalism.
