Course Description

Zooarchaeology is a study of past life ways and environment through the analysis of animal remains such as bones and shells excavated from archaeological sites. This lecture will feature different animals and discuss their relationship with people. Methods and results of related discipline such as history, folklore, ethnology, and various archaeometric studies will also be introduced.
