Course Description

The aim of this course is to learn the current situation and the major issues of the Japanese economy by using economic theories and data. Especially in autumn semester, we highlight and examine the major issues in the areas of business activities, labor, public finance, monetary policy and so on.
At the end of the course, participants are expected to be able to describe Japan’s current economic situation and express how to overcome the challenges of the Japanese economy.
