Course Description

In this course, focusing on the theme of people’s lifestyle and the way of living in the society, you will explore the process of learning aiming at the regional redevelopment amid the falling birthrate and the aging population. In the learning for building the society, we see the self-directed learning process that transforms the existing values and behavior through proactive involvement in problem solving. On the basis of the theory of community and adult education that supports the process where people from society’s objects to society’s subjects, we will discuss the role of learning and education taking a broad view of the regional society.
