Course Description

 Tourist destinations in Japan aims for construction of a city for international tourism and town planning led by local communities.   Also, destinations which used to be devoid of famous tourism resources welcome a lot of tourists and they are regarded as tourist destinations recently.  Thus, it is important for attracting more tourists to the destinations that tourism and town planning draw out the appeal of destinations in an integrated manner.
 During the spring term, students learn background factors for the rise of town planning, examples of local communities, the methods to diagnosis destinations, and the way to discover tourism resources.  After that, the students learn a basic concept to master the essence of town planning.
