Course Description

This class aims to deliberately read the most important works of Greek classics, Rex Oedipus of Sophocles, Protagoras of Plato, and History of the Pelopennesian War of Thucydides. Students are invited to interpret them in the historical background and consider the fundamental problems such as fate of a person, individual and the society, war and city-state.
