Course Description

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of local autonomy law systems in Japan. This course is divided into 2 parts, Local Government I and Local Government II. In 'Local Government II', we will especially study about authority and organizations of local public bodies, rights and obligations of local residents, and relationship between the central and local governments.
