Course Description

This course aims to learn and/or understand the political thought and behavior in the Meiji era in Japan. To fulfill the purpose,I will lecture in some eminent Japanese thinkers such as FUKUZAWA Yukichi, NAKAE Chomin, UEKI Emori etc. And if it is possible,I would like to ask some questions to students in the class.
