Course Description

This course is designed as an introduction to the cultures and societies of Latin America. The principal aim of this course is to help students acquire a holistic understanding about Latin American society and culture, focusing on cultural diversity, such as food culture, music, religions, human relationship, agriculture and native latin american crops, tourism and so on.
By the end of the course, participants are expected to obtain basic knowledge about Latin American society and culture, and to be able to explain the cultural characteristics of this regions.
