Course Description

This course aims to study two main points as follows.
First, we discuss government and municipal policies in terms of macro economics. Second, we consider several solutions about serious problems that Japanese public sector has.
This course basically aims to consider governmental policies at the viewpoint of macroeconomics. Therefore, students should have a large stock of knowledge about macroeconomics. Also, in this course, I am going to introduce you to the regulation schemes of public utilities and comprehensive measures about pension and medical care.
