Course Description

In this class, we study about the historical changes in Chinese political thought from ancient times to modern times. From early on, Chinese philosophers have been actively discussing issues such as political methods and the relationship between monarchs and vassals. The characteristic of Chinese thought is that it is not always an abstract discussion, but is always closely linked to real problems. Learning the thoughts behind historical events will make learning history even more enjoyable.
