Course Description

With an eye on the explosive acceleration of AI, robotics, and life engineering since the pandemic of the new virus, I will focus on the relationship between religious traditions, humanism, and new technologies, and consider their possible coexistence and threats to coexistence. I will then analyze the characteristics of human beings (Homo sapiens) who are obsessed with things beyond human knowledge, and the transcendence of artifacts created by humans. Through these processes, I will present a new outline of human cultural studies, with an eye to the fluctuations in today's view of humanity.
