Course Description

Based on the worldview of time and space of life and culture explored in the spring semester, we will attempt to analyze specific examples such as the dragon scale as a metaphor for the richness of nature and living things, the diversity of calendars, names, and lives, and the profound meaning of welcoming a new year. Then, as a culmination of my inquiry into existence and space-time, I will propose the concept of "living death," which opens up a way of looking at the world that contrasts with life toward death, and discuss its possibilities.
