Course Description

Second Language Acquisition (SLA) is the study of how people learn a second language. In this course, students will go over SLA theories, with particular emphasis on factors that affect acquisition, the process by which acquisition occurs, and relevant research methodology, with the goal of applying that knowledge to the field of Japanese language education.
