Course Description

Global demand for infrastructure is enormous with rapid urbanization and economic growth of emerging countries specially in Asia. Meanwhile Japan is facing issues such as renewal or rehabilitation of old infrastructure.
Following sector analysis made at previous semester, this course will focus on the challenge of infrastructure development by the Japanese companies in environment field, export by Japanese local government, etc. At the latter half, the analysis will be made on the challenge of Japanese domestic infrastructure development including its renewal of rehabilitation thorough schemes utilizing Public Private Participation(PPP) such as concession scheme, etc.
