Course Description

This course focuses on learning the importance of thinking "closer", "wider", and "more independently" through the fieldwork.
This class is designed to accurately understand and recognize the significance of tourism and the new Japanese government‘s tourism policy as the Tourism-Oriented Country (PJTOC)” targeting to gain inbound tourists through researching the Hakone tourism on the fieldwork as a specific example. In addition, this course will research and analyze the impact of COVID-19 on Hakone Tourism through the field work.
