Course Description

In this course, we will learn about basic concepts of regional policy and obtain basic knowledge.
Lectures will be given on the significance and history of regional policy, as well as the present conditions and problems of regional policies such as welfare and regional development.
In addition, after learning the roles of central and local governments in regional policy and the progress of decentralization, we will study the organization of local governments which are key players of regional policy.
