Course Description

In this class we will examine the psychological tendencies and problems that particularly affect children with special needs, according to the type of disability. When looking at children with intellectual disabilities, we will pay special attention to the causes of disabilities which have particular psychological characteristics, and the physiology and pathology of the brain.
We will cover the following:
1. Children with intellectual disabilities;
2. Children with physical disabilities;
3. Children with health problems;
4. Children with visual impairments;
5. Children with hearing impairments; 6. Children with other disabilities.
