Course Description

In this lecture, we will learn historical and current issues in Europe, focusing European integration and the European Union (or the EC) : history of European economy from the early 20th century, economic policies of major west European countries, position of the EU (or the EC) seeing from international economy. 
This lecture treats the period until 1970s (succeeded periods is to be treated in European Economy II).
