Course Description

This course will look into current economic sitiations and development challenges of developing Asia. In the autumn semester, the course will read the latter part of the textbook, "Degitaliging Emerging Economies" (Asei Ito) and discuss the various impacts of degitalization in emerging economies in Asia. The course will be conducted in a participatory manner by the students and the students will be asked to make a presentation on the summary of the assigned part of the textbook as a base of discussion in class.
