Course Description

Tea-ism or Sa-do is the technique and the means of human associations by way of tea-ceremony which is a Japanese basic lifestyle and spiritual culture comprehensively formalized.
Tea-ism is the world filled with the best and purest essences of the rich dietary, architectural, craft, artistic, philosophical, religious, refined cultures and study fostered by the Japanese people.
Freed from such preoccupations that 'Matcha, powdered green tea, tastes very bitter' or 'Sitting on one's knees throughout is the must at tea ceremony,' students learn and practice a wide array of Tea-ism history, philosophy and techniques.
Beginners are welcome.
