Course Description

Japanese culture has developed through interaction with foreign countries and has also influenced these countries. This lecture will focus on clothing and design and outline the impact of cultural exchange on Japanese culture.
Full-year courses are recommended to students to give an overview of the progress from the primitive period to the present day. In the first semester, we deal with ancient times.
