Course Description

This course develops students’ critical thinking, presentation and English language skills through examinations of American and British films. Students will select their favorite films and explore how issues, such as race, ethnicity, gender, and class are portrayed and challenged in these films. Through research and presentations, students will gain deeper understanding of cultural diversity and the importance of communication with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Students are expected to use English and actively engage in discussions, presentations, group work, and other class activities.
