Course Description

The purpose of this class is to conduct research and discussion on a wide range of areas of the Japanese economy, including business, labor, industry, and economic policy.
In the first half of the fall semester, each group will conduct research based on the theme set in the spring semester, and present the results of their research. In the second half of the semester, each participant will conduct individual research on an industry or company of interest, and present the results.
