Course Description

This course aims to explore special topics of the European history, especially through the French history. Topics covered are: the Renaissance, the Reformation, the French Wars of Religion under the Valois dynasty, and the succession of Bourbon dynasty. At the same time, it also aims to offer an opportunity for students to develop skills in historical analysis and writing.
