Course Description

This course introduces issues on factionalism in the imperial Japanese army widely known for its harsh history of full of factional infightings including one between Kodo faction and Tosei faction. Since factionalism is common to a greater or lesser extent among modern social lives including political circles, classrooms and peers, it is likely that the history of factionalism of the imperial Japanese army expected to have some implications for our real lives.
