Course Description

This course is intended to study Hyakunin Isshu (百人一首). Hyakunin Isshu is a classical Japanese anthology of one hundred Japanese waka（和歌） by one hundred poets.
Waka has been the foundation of Japanese culture since ancient times. By deepening our knowledge, we also aim to consider what "和歌" is.
