Course Description

This course aims to study basic programming skills by employing Python as an introductory programming language.
Python is one of the recent popularity rising language, which is easy to learn for beginners. The application fields of Python varies from statistics and deep learning to natural language processing, and Python is the best choice for students majoring sociology. Students are expected to practice basic programming skills by writing various source codes in the class, including fundamental social network analysis.
