Course Description

The course offers a concise perspective on the contemporary Asia, fast evolving region in the world. After summarizing the overview of the Asia's political, economic and cultural features, a country-wise outlook is to be presented, in looking into a comparison between China and Taiwan, two Koreas, India and Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia. During the course, relevant current topics are also to be taken on board.
Evaluation method : regular performance(attendance, review test)(60%) and term-end exam(40%).
