Course Description

In the “Introduction to Wester History", we will overview the European history from ancient times to present day, by looking at major events and their historical significance, and attempting to bring them together considering the historical context. The “Introduction to Western History II” will especially focus on the period from Renaissance to the modern era. Through the study of the history of western civilization we will also discover the origins of many institutions and ideologies which shaped our society.
