Course Description

This course is designed to deepen students' understanding of workshops, which are attracting attention as a new form of participatory experiential learning.
This year we will work on a project to plan, run and evaluate a workshop in which we will collect stories (everyday episodes, history, etc.) from the area around the university and turn them into plays.

This course is closely related to "Pedagogy I", but with a more developed content. The course is closely related to Pedagogy I, but is more advanced, so students are welcome to take it in succession. The course is open to a maximum of 20 students, who are required to attend guidance at the first session. If the number of students exceeds the number of places available, a lottery will be held. Priority will be given to students who have taken the course consecutively with Pedagogy I.

This course is offered as part of Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research C "Development and Evaluation of a Learning Program for University Students and the Elderly to Study Together". Participants will be asked to contribute to the research through questionnaires, interviews and speech recordings. Only those who are able to do so are encouraged to take this course.
