Course Description

The goal of this course is to clarify the difference between the children's service in public libraries and school libraries. Also it may show the role of information service in the guided inquiry process in learning. Students will learn from the practice session with peers for read-aloud, and for a book talk - introduce books in theme - as a guidance of reading materials. Guided inquiry process will be a good way to develop the students' information literacy, as well. Students will found out the basic needs in the school libraries and the expectations from school librarian.
