Course Description

This course aims to give students a broad overview of European political history from the founding of the city of Rome to the late antiquity. Main topics covered are: the collapse of the Roman Empire and the Merovingian dynasty. At the same time, it also aims to offer an opportunity for students to develop skills in historical analysis and writing.
