Course Description

This course is designed to help students increase their understanding of American cultural patterns and examine how they are different from their own through interactive activities, readings and discussions. Increasing intercultural sensitivity and promoting cross-cultural awareness, tolerance, and greater global understanding are the main goals of the course. Students will learn to predict or avoid problems that may arise due to cultural differences.
