Course Description

In recent years, communities have multiple problems such as declining birthrate and aging population, depopulation, industrial decline, environmental problems and natural disasters. We called the modern society as risk society. The regional media is expected to play a role in solving the above problems. This class will show the cases such as by utilizing regional media centering on disaster information, the area will collaborate with outsiders to achieve the objectives of disaster prevention, reconstruction, and regional revitalization. In this class, students should participate the groupwork.
