Course Description

The objective of this course is to learn about issues of Japanese language education globally and to acquire basic knowledge for studying international Japanese studies through examining related data. This course covers Japanese language learners including their backgrounds, educational policies, changes and current status of related theories and methodologies in Japanese language education in the world including Japan. It also covers issues in secondary and higher educational institutions overseas, the evaluation and test systems, teachers in the world, etc.
