Course Description

Asia is comprised of a number of countries under various political and economic systems. The dynamics of regional integration and the international cooperation in Asia are increasingly gaining attention worldwidely. This course aims at promoting the understanding of the diversity of Asia and the correlating relationships among the Asian countries. It provides an overview over the economic growth and political development of Asian countries, particularly the newly industrialized nations and the ASEAN member states.
