Course Description

In this series of lectures, students will read a book written by Sakae Tsunoyama, a scholar who studies British history. His book, Cha no Sekaishi, is based on his surveys, and provides meaningful insight into formation of major tea-producing districts in the world and the export of Japanese tea. After this class, students will understand the cultural differences and the popularization of foods in the world.
