This lecture will focus on archaeobotanical methods and researches. Archaeobotanical materials can provide information on diet of the past, history of agricultural technology, resource exploitation activities, paleo-environment and so on. Students will learn on archaeobotanical remains (i.e. seeds, woods, pollen, phytolith) and their characteristics, how to collect them, study them, interpret them, and what you can investigate from them.
